It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mabel Judith Micah, the esteemed Savannah Regional Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES). Mrs. Micah died on Friday, September 27, 2024, after a seven-month battle with health complications stemming from a tragic car accident.
The accident, which occurred on the Kumasi-Accra highway, claimed the life of her storekeeper, Baba Wusamah, instantly and left Mrs. Micah in critical condition. Despite extensive medical care in Accra, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
Mrs. Micah was widely respected for her significant contributions to education in the Savannah Region. Her passing is a profound loss and has left many in mourning.
