The BASE ONE Youth Group of Damongo recently paid a courtesy call on the Savannah Regional Minister, Saeed Muhazu Jibril, at his new office at the Savannah Regional Coordinating Council edifice.
During the visit, the youth group extended an invitation to the Minister for an upcoming motivational stakeholders forum, slated for early 2024. The forum aims to inspire the youth of the area to live decent lives and build positive futures. An official date for the event will be communicated to the Minister’s office and the public soon.
Minister Jibril expressed his gratitude to the BASE ONE Youth Group for their ongoing support and affection for the leadership of Damongo. He commended the group for acknowledging individuals who have contributed to the youth of Damongo, urging them to maintain their faith and commitment. The Minister also affirmed that his doors remain open to BASE ONE Youth and other dedicated youth groups in the region.
Rev. Samuel Dinkeri, speaking on behalf of the youth group, thanked Minister Jibril for his consistent support to BASE ONE and other relevant youth organizations in the area. He assured the Minister of the youth’s readiness to participate in any positive initiatives aimed at the growth and development of the Savannah Region.
