The Savannah Region Office of the Information Services Department organized a day training for field officers, DIOs and some journalists across the Region on Saturday, 4th April, 2020 at the Regional Coordinating Council Conference Hall.
This was after the office took delivery of training logistics on Friday, 3rd April, 2020.
All participants expressed satisfaction of the training content and administration and assured of their willingness and commitment to hit the ground hard from Monday; 6th April, 2020.

Savannah Region takes delivery of 40 veronica buckets and some dust bins as part of the Regional launch of the Local Government and Rural Development Ministry’s component of the national education and sensitisation campaign against the spread of the COVID-19.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Region, the Minister in charge, Hon. Alhaji Adam Salifu Braimah appealed to the journalists in particular to take active interest in the regular dissemination of the right information about the Covid-19 to the general public to curb its wide spread. He also appealed to the public to use the facilities according to the prescription of the experts to avoid the infection and spread of the viruses. Present at the short ceremony included the deputy regional minister, the RCD, some MDAs and staff of the SRCC. Attached are sample pictures of the occasion.
