The contract seeks to pursue strategic objectives that are in line with the Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda (GSGDA II); to facilitate the provision of basic socio-economic infrastructure and services in the Savannah Region; to improve quality of life through the provision of quality health services, education, water, housing, and sound environmental management. It also seeks to provide support to agricultural modernization and natural resource management, provide support to accelerate energy supply to promote small and medium enterprises in the Savannah Region, promote good governance by strengthening the management and service delivery capacity of the SRCC and the MMDAs, and promote private sector participation in the development of the Savannah Region.
